Secluded Cabins in the Woods of the Red River Gorge

A lot of people picture a treehouse when they imagine staying deep in the Red River Gorge's forest — up in the canopy, away from everything. Here's the honest version: we don't rent treehouses. But our cabins are tucked into the same secluded, wooded ridges that make a treehouse appealing, and they give you what people are really after — privacy, trees out every window, and quiet — plus the things a treehouse can't: a full kitchen, a private hot tub, a real bed, and heat and air conditioning.

What "secluded" actually means here. No neighbors in your sightline. A fire pit and a deck looking into the woods. The kind of dark, quiet nights you only get away from town. For couples especially, it's the immersed-in-nature feeling of a treehouse without giving up comfort or a good night's sleep.

More than just the cabin. Guests also have access to a shared pond on the property — a short walk through the trees, good for a swim or a quiet evening cast (catch-and-release, at your own risk) — and you're minutes from the Gorge's trails, arches, and overlooks when you want to get out.

Which cabins

Our two most secluded cabins are Sunday Blues and Manor House — the most tucked-away, private, deep-in-the-woods stays we have. Start there if seclusion is the whole point of the trip. Browse all our cabins →
